As proud sponsors of this inspiring community event, we walked alongside families, caregivers, survivors, and those still bravely fighting their battles. The day was filled with emotion and strength—stories shared, hands held, and moments of reflection for the loved ones we’ve lost. Our team showed up not just in support, but in solidarity, honoring every step taken in hope and healing. Being part of an event that brings people together in courage and compassion is something we are truly grateful for. The Walk for Hope reminded us of the power of community and the importance of standing with those who need it most. Through the Subaru Love Promise, Ira Subaru remains committed to supporting the hearts and lives of our community—one step at a time.

At Ira Subaru, the Subaru Love Promise continues to shine through simple acts of support within our local community. Recently, the team partnered with Parker-Varney Elementary School to help ease the burden often placed on teachers and to uplift the students they care for each day. Ira Subaru sponsored multiple classrooms, providing funds so teachers could purchase what they needed without paying out of pocket. The team also prepared additional school supplies to share and wrote inspirational notes to remind students that they are capable, supported, and believed in. It wasn’t about recognition—it was about showing up for a school that shapes the future of our community. The smiles, gratitude, and quiet moments of encouragement made the effort meaningful. Through projects like this, Ira Subaru and the Subaru Love Promise continue to foster kindness, connection, and support right where it matters most.
Lucas' Wish Reveal - Macie K
At Ira Subaru, the Subaru Love Promise guided one of our most magical days yet. In partnership with Make-A-Wish NH, we had the honor of revealing to Lucas that his greatest wish is coming true — a dream trip to Disney World. Our team transformed the showroom with bright decorations, gifts, and surprises made just for him. Raising Cane’s lunch, cake, and smiles filled the room as we celebrated Lucas, his strength, and his incredible journey toward recovery. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible, and to Subaru for the unwavering support that allows moments like this to happen. Watching Lucas’ face light up reminded us why we do what we do. This day wasn’t just special — it was unforgettable. And it was all for Lucas.
Trunk or Treat - macie k
IRA Subaru Manchester was excited to take part in the Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Trick-or-Treat event this year! Our team had a blast decorating the Subaru Outback and joining in on the fun at Trunk or Treat, spreading smiles and Halloween cheer to the kids and families who stopped by. We have a close and meaningful relationship with Make-A-Wish NH, an organization that brings hope and joy to children with critical illnesses. Each year, we proudly choose them as one of our hometown charities for the Subaru Share the Love® Event and have had the privilege of helping with several wish reveals. Supporting Make-A-Wish and seeing the happiness they create is something we truly cherish — and this event was another wonderful reminder of the magic they bring to our community.
Pups and Cars - Macie K
IRA Subaru Manchester recently teamed up with the Salem Animal Rescue League for a heartwarming adoption event that brought together car lovers and animal enthusiasts alike. For the past few years, IRA Subaru has supported the shelter by donating dog toys, food, treats, beds, leashes, and other essential items to help animals in need. This year, they took their partnership a step further by hosting an adoption event right at the dealership, where attendees had the chance to meet adorable pups — including a friendly dog named Ralph. The event was a success, with three adoption applications submitted and many more visitors expressing interest in giving a rescue pet a loving home. It was a perfect example of community collaboration, showing how local businesses can make a positive impact beyond their showroom doors.

For the past 10 years, Subaru of America and its retailers have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets and messages of hope to cancer patients across the country. On June 17th, Ira Subaru Manchester personally delivered these items to The Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot. These blankets and messages of hope provide warmth and comfort to patients in treatment. The love and support shared through this cherished partnership means a lot to everyone involved! Ira Subaru Manchester Teams Up to Support Local Community - Nate R
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Manchester, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Ira Subaru Manchester is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Ira Subaru Manchester have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/24/2025, Ira Subaru Manchester donated 120 coats to Centerboard. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Madison's Wish for Freedom - Olivia S
Thanks to the incredible support of Ira Subaru Manchester, Make-A-Wish New Hampshire was able to give 14-year-old Madison the greatest gift of all: independence. On December 28, Madison's eyes sparkled with joy as she was presented with her very own Terrain Hopper, an all-terrain mobility vehicle that would forever change how she experiences the world around her. Madison, who was diagnosed with renal disease, faces the daily reality of being immunocompromised after a kidney transplant, often having to take extra precautions to stay safe. Instead of enjoying carefree moments as a kid, her journey has been filled with challenges—but this weekend was all about joy and possibilities. The Terrain Hopper represents more than just mobility for Madison; it's her chance to reclaim the outdoor adventures that her medical condition has made difficult to access. Now, she can explore nature trails, join family activities, and experience the simple freedoms that many take for granted, all while maintaining the careful health considerations her condition requires. As part of the Share The Love campaign, Ira Subaru Manchester transformed the wish reveal into an extraordinary celebration. Their team's attention to detail, from the festive decorations to the warm welcome, created an atmosphere of joy that perfectly matched this life-changing moment for Madison and her family. It's partnerships like these that enable Make-A-Wish New Hampshire to create life-changing moments for wish kids across the state. At Ira Subaru Manchester, we believe in driving more than just cars—we're committed to driving positive change in our community. This June marked a special occasion as part of Subaru's Love Promise initiative: Subaru Loves to Care month. This initiative embodies our dedication to making a difference in the lives of those facing adversity, particularly in partnership with The Solinsky Center at The Elliott Hospital, known for its exceptional cancer care. The Solinsky Center sees 150 patients daily, providing crucial support and treatment during their cancer journey. Recognizing the challenges these patients endure, especially with the often chilling effects of treatment, we at Ira Subaru sought to bring warmth and encouragement into their lives. Throughout June, our dealership encouraged both clients and staff to participate in writing personalized messages of encouragement. These messages were not just words, but tokens of solidarity and hope for those undergoing treatment. Each message carried a piece of our community's collective support, showing that they are not alone in their fight. On July 11th, the culmination of our efforts came to fruition as we gathered these messages along with 150 cozy blankets. Kristen Jordan, the center's director, greeted us and shared the profound impact these blankets have had over the years. Many patients have expressed how these blankets provide physical comfort during treatments that often leave them feeling cold. Interestingly, quite a few patients even proudly mentioned they drive Subarus, making the connection even more meaningful. Kristen Jordan's words resonated deeply with us, affirming that our community-driven efforts are making a tangible difference where it's needed most. She highlighted how these small gestures of kindness ripple through the center, fostering a sense of compassion and support that goes beyond medical care. At Ira Subaru Manchester, we are immensely proud to be part of a company that values not only selling cars but also enriching lives. Our Subaru Loves to Care initiative is more than an event; it's a testament to our commitment to serving our community with heart and dedication. From November 16th, 2023 to January 2nd, 2024, Ira Subaru Manchester proudly participated in the Annual Subaru Share the Love event. This special initiative allows every customer who buys a Subaru during this period to choose from five charities for Subaru to donate $250 to on their behalf. The selected charities are Make-A-Wish, the National Park Foundation, ASPCA, Meals on Wheels, and our cherished local charity, Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. In an effort to amplify the spirit of giving, Ira Subaru Manchester decided to go the extra mile. For every new car sold during this event, our dealership made an additional donation of $100 to Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. This commitment reflects our dedication to supporting our community and making a tangible difference in the lives of local children. Throughout the past year, Ira Subaru Manchester has worked diligently to strengthen our partnership with Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. Our involvement includes participating in several of their community events, demonstrating our commitment to their cause. One of the highlights was decorating one of our Subaru Outbacks for their Trunk or Treat event, where we brought joy and festive spirit to the community. Additionally, we had the honor of hosting a special event at our dealership where we revealed a child's wish, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Our efforts culminated on May 20th, 2024, when we proudly presented a check worth over $51,000 to Olivia Stanos from Make-A-Wish New Hampshire. This significant donation represents the collective generosity of our customers and our dealership's dedication to making dreams come true for children facing critical illnesses. The event was graced by representatives from Subaru of New England, executives from Group 1 Automotive, and our team at Ira Subaru Manchester. We are incredibly grateful to our customers, whose purchases made this substantial contribution possible. Your support enables us to give back to our community and support organizations that make a difference in people's lives.
